Ancillary Clinical Staff

Pharmacists

We have regular support from pharmacists who are provided by Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB). Our pharmacists are specialists in regard to medication, and carry out many patient medication reviews, supporting the doctors clinically in this important area.

Occupational Therapists

CTMUHB also support local practices with the provision of an excellent Occupational Therapy team. An Occupational Therapist supports people to live at home, in their own community, independently.

District Nurses

Patients who need various treatments at home may require the service of the district nurses who are attached to the practice. The district nurse team is based in Mountain Ash Hospital and can be contacted on 01443 444069.

Health Visitor

The practice works with several health visitors; Heidi Magro is the main health visitor attached to the surgery. She can be contacted on 01685 471710. Please ask to be put through to the health visitor for Mountain Ash area.

Midwives

The midwife attached to the practice is Carol Richards. She and other members of her team look after any of our patients who are pregnant before, during and after birth. The midwives can be contacted on 01685 883336.
